You may say it's a Swastika, and you'll be right. But, of course, this one has nothing with Nazi ideology. Swastika is a powerful symbol with lots of meanings, and it was known around the world since ancient times...
What swastika? I see a slightly distorted cross knot design, but no swastika. Unless you are refering to the pointed knotwork sections.
Regardless, it's a very well executed design.
*nods* the swastika is evident, as is its true context here. Originally seen as a universal symbol of the interconnectivity of all living things and the apex of the universe. It signifies the constant movement of all life while honoring the fact that every living thing returns once more to its center (or creator, depending on ones point of view) once it's time has come. A lovely work all the way around.

I find this design to be very peaceful. Eventhough it is hardly simple, the cleanliness of the lines and colours somehow makes it seem simple - and sleek too. Nice work, I can't wait to see more from you.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
